This project was undertaken for a discerning private client.  The challenge was to deliver an extension to and refurbishment of an existing listed Mews property, linking back to a 5-storey town house in the heart of London.  Access as always was at a premium, with tightly scheduled deliveries and careful co-ordination of materials.

During the contract, the Mews building was found to be unstable and the roof and entire upper floors needed to be sympathetically rebuilt with new structural steel and masonry.  Existing joinery fitments, windows and doors were replaced to match the existing.  The Mews house was refitted internally to provide additional private residential space, forming bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas all with a contemporary finish to an exacting standard.

The two-storey link was finished with a fully glazed elevation housing the bespoke kitchen and a roof terrace garden.
