Phelan have been working with The Restaurant Group for some years now, primarily involved with restaurant Shells which we completed in Derby and Bedford to name a few.

Recently, TRG asked Phelan to turn our considerable expertise in heavy-side building to the conversion of an existing landmark property in Stafford known as “The Hough” in preparation for a restaurant fit-out of the now famous Frankie & Benny’s brand.

The existing structure required extensive propping and support whilst the ground and intermediate floors and walls were removed and replaced.  The roof was removed and re-covered, whilst externally, the fabric of the building was repaired including the original stone tracery and lead-light windows.

Landscaping of the surrounding site and car park refurbishment completed the job, ready for TRG to take occupation.
