For many years, Phelan has been renowned for the many projects completed within the cinema and entertainment sectors. We have become a go-to contractor for many of the major cinema chains who are looking for fit-out, refurbishment or new build works completing.

Phelan first broke into the Cinema sector when we were awarded the contract to fit-out the Odeon Cinema in Dorchester in 2012. Since then, we have expanded our cinema Client base to encompass 7 of the industry’s leading operators. Our in-house experience of ceilings and partitions give Phelan the control and expertise to deliver high quality cinema fit outs at highly competitive prices. Furthermore our ability to deliver structural alterations alongside the fit-out has led to us being awarded several projects involving major structural works and extensions to existing buildings including at the Grade II listed Trocadero Centre in Piccadilly.

As with all our hospitality and leisure clients we understand the importance of achieving the Client’s programme in line with planned opening dates and Phelan have demonstrated time and time again our ability to deliver even the most challenging of projects in time for the clients opening without compromising on the quality.

Our experience covers a broad range of cinema styles from the mainstream multiplex brands such as Odeon and Cineworld to the boutique art house brands such as Curzon, Picturehouse and Everyman.
