PHELAN’S NEAR TO COMPLETION AT THE HILTON NOTTINGHAM

PHELAN’S NEAR TO COMPLETION AT THE HILTON NOTTINGHAM

Good News!

Here is a glance at one of the completed 176 guest rooms for Phelan’s refurbishment project at the Hilton, Nottingham. Former Victoria Station Hotel built in 1894-1898.

A live hotel, operating within Covid safe guidelines.

Each room and floor are different resulting in a bespoke approach to the works and room fit-out. The room refurbishment has included new air conditioning units, associated roof level plant deck, acoustic concrete slab and louvre screening. All case-goods and joinery were surveyed and measured with many designed and installed bespoke to suit the tight historic buildings rooms, quirks, and character. The project has involved communication with local authorities to bring the buildings fire strategy up to date and significant fire stopping works have been completed. The project team have remained open and reactive to deliveries and works phased in line with the Hotel’s commitments to enable the hotel to remain open and trading.
